The Performance Car section headed down to the Crooked Billet in Slough for the 1st meeting of 2004 under the direction of Iain Collinson who has done a sterling job of taking over and running the section over the last 18 months or so.

It was good to get out and about and meet up with lots of people who I hadn't seen in the flesh for a while, as well as look at some of the new cars to the section.

We took the opportunity to discuss future events that will be happening, as well as direction for the Performance Section of the club. Iain is planning lots of events for 2004, which, alongside the large amount of club racing and track days going on with members' involvement should make for a busy and interesting year!

Once the formalities (and lunch) were dispensed with, we all moved back outside for the usual round-up of under bonnet anorak type action as well as a few peeps (me included) taking some others out for a quick blast up and down the dual carriageway.
