In the summer of 2005, I was invited to take my 850 to Bruntingthorpe proving ground to be reviewed by Luke Wood - deputy editor of Track & Race Car Magazine from Unity Media.

The car was part of a feature of Volvo cars owned by customers of Don Norchi of Kalmar Union. The cars present were Don's S60 ERCC racer, his S70 TOYO championship car and Julian Ellison's S40 Racer. My 850 completed the line up, so we had one of each racer model from the front-wheel-drive era.

The article was published in the November 2005 edition of the magazine, and I've now made it available here - for you to enjoy!

The T&R team then featured the car in a second article, in September 2006. This article, named "Buy before it dies" featured a number of future classics including an Escort RS2000 & Fiat Uno Turbo. I was very pleased to see that my car had been considered for a second outing in print!!
